On Saturday night my 4 year old son came home with Daddy and happily announced to me that they bought flowers. He went on to tell me that the flowers were for me. For WEDNESDAY.
I was confused; "What's Wednesday?" My birthday had been on Monday and I couldn't think of what Wednesday was. Now it was Ocean's turn to look confused. "I don't know." He answered. "Daddy said so." We had to wait for Daddy to come and explain and at first he was confused too! But then we got it settled "The flowers are for Mother's Day" (which was the next morning).
So, to all you Mothers out there, Happy Wednesday!
